If this isn't the coolest idea ever, I can't imagine what is.
A good friend of mine gave me this "Prayer Box" for Christmas.
The little tin comes complete with a mini pencil and little stack of papers to jot down daily worries, frustrations, needs, and desires. Then, all I have to do is close the lid and know that God is reading my little notes and handing them to His angels to get to work on.
Some prayers are small, some are great, and some are written with more urgency than the others; nonetheless I can rest assured that the Lord is processing them all with equal importance.
How fun it has been in the last few months to glance through my written pleas and realize He has answered a few already. Even more, it has caused me to be more aware of God's acts of grace and handiwork in my life, and to be thankful for things I might have otherwise forgotten I'd even asked about, or even hadn't asked for.
If you're in a quandary as to what kind of Easter or Mother's Day gifts to grab in these next few weeks, consider a Prayer Box to help encourage those you love to pray often and much (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
